Shaw Festival Opening

Remember when we posted about the Shaw Festival a few weeks ago and mentioned we are thrilled to be their exclusive caterer for their events this summer? Â Well….we were super happy to be able to host another event again this past weekend. Â This time around, we switched up the style from a plated dinner to fun food stations (remember that post too?!). Â Here’s a look at what went on this weekend:

Station #1:                                                         Buttermilk fried chicken, crisp waffles, maple Dijon, candied jalapeno, Tabasco reduction

Station #2:                                                           Creole sauteed shrimp, semolina grits, smoky tomato, Andouille sausage, Cajun trinity

Station #3:                                                             Mini Bahn Mi: Asian BBQ pork, chili mayo, pickled carrots and daikon, cilantro served with taro, yucca and sweet potato chips

Station #4: Mexican Street Corn: Grilled corn, lime crema, queso anejo, cracked chili powder, coriander

Station #5: Spiked Snow Cones – crushed ice with choice of the following syrups: Mojito (non-alcoholic), Peach Daiquiri, Cosmo and Margarita
