We were honoured to be a part of another beautiful wedding this past summer. Michelle and Jim opted to host a small gathering of family and close friends at Raspberry Fields Farm, an intimate venue outside the city which prides itself on their food and farmer’s market.

The tables were set in a harvest style manner with burlap runners, candles and effortlessly pretty vases down the middle which set the tone for this elegantly rustic wedding to unfold. The fun little touches that brought it all together where the “Mrs.” and “Mr.” chalkboard signs on the crossback chairs as well as the jam jars used as the place settings.

To bring that feel of farm to table, a family-style dinner was served which included:

Grilled flat iron, salsa verde, roasted garlic aioli
Rosemary grilled chicken breast with honey grilled peaches
Herb roasted fingerlings, sea salt, butter
Platters of pesto grilled and roasted vegetables
Romaine, roasted garlic dressing, fried capers, shaved parmesan, crisp pancetta

To end the meal off, nothing is quite better than our French Orange Cake (besides having a late night snack of creamy gourmet mac n’ cheese)!

It was an absolutely perfect day filled with so much love. Congratulations to the newlyweds, we wish you all the best in your journey together!
